Thanks. I got it.

The thing that confused me is the cut and pasting. I figured out that I had to hand enter the 16 digit key. The instructions in the manual now make sense to me.

(When I pasted the 16 digit key, only 1 digit converted to Hex)
Statistics: Posted by mikebehrens — Thu Sep 24, 2009 1:56 pm

The Yubikey 2.0 support this feature. You can output any 16-byte arbitrary string. This setup will however be susceptible to keyboard layout variations.

Regards,

JakobE
Hardware- and firmware guy @ Yubico
Statistics: Posted by Jakob — Sat Sep 19, 2009 5:16 pm

I've read the manual and scanned the forums which has helped me figure out everything I need except one thing:

Can I use my own static password such as "asunf73#%^><":2adhg" ?

I was able to use basic mode to program a random 32 character password, but how do I use my own?

-Mike-
Statistics: Posted by mikebehrens — Fri Sep 18, 2009 2:46 pm
