If you configure both the configuration slots to emit the static password and hold the YubiKey button for 8-15 seconds then the first configuration slot will be reprogrammed to a new random static password. The second configuration slot will not be affected.

However, if only one of the slots is configured in the static password mode, corresponding configuration will be updated with a new static password on pressing and holding the button for 8-15 seconds.
Statistics: Posted by samir — Thu Jul 22, 2010 9:57 am

I understand that I can have my yubikey select a new random static key by holding the button down for 8-15 seconds and the pressing the button another time. If I configure my Yubikey to have two static keys, which one can I update with this procedure?

Thanks,
Brad
Statistics: Posted by Bradisbest — Sun Jul 11, 2010 4:19 am
