[QUESTION]Windows+Bitlocker+Yubi: which option is safer?

There seem to be two easy options for adding Yubikey security to Windows 10 with bitlocker (so far TPM only):
1) viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1054 --> using a YubiKey OTP for bitlocker PIN
2) https://www.yubico.com/wp-content/uploa ... ion_en.pdf --> Bitlocker (TPM only) but with Windows requiring Yubikey for Windows Login

Which of these two options would you recommend and why? How secure do you consider these methods?
