I'm new with the Yubikey Neo (v 2.0, firmware 3.3.6), and I do have some issues when using the Yubikey with Windows 8.1.
My Yubikey is configured to act as OpenPGP Smartcard in conjunction with Thunderbird / Enigmail. When plugging the Yubikey in for the first time, this works like a charm. However, after unplugging the key (e.g. while using it on my Android phone), and plugging it back it, decryption doesn't work anymore.
My workaround: Unplug Yubikey, kill scdaemon.exe (GPGs SmartCard-DAemon), replug the Yubikey.
Is there any better workaround for this?
I also face a second issue: I also use the Yubikey (Slot 2) as TOTP provider using the Authenticator-Software. However, when I once used the Authenticator, I cannot use OpenPGP again until I unplug and replug the key. This problem also exists the other way round, so when using OpenPGP, I can not run the Authenticator (it doesn't recognize the Yubikey then).
Is this normal behavior?
