How are you attaching the key to the virtual machine? Multiplexed via your host's input subsystems or by telling VirtualBox to connect the USB device directly into the guest?

I wouldn't mind betting it might be a keyboard-repeat rate issue with your guest if you're using the former.

What happens if you use a text editor on the host to capture the OTP, then paste that into the guest?

Hi, I have problems using my key in a MacOS virtual machine under the excellent Virtual Box.

When I touch the button in the terminal on the host, I get:
cccccccblvevvbtnrllflgrecl....... etc

But on the virtual machine, several of the leading 'c's are missing. I have no idea if the rest of the string is being modified... The key also sends repeated extra carriage returns - the terminal scrolls as if I am hitting return.

Any ideas?
