So, do you have any recommended tips to fix this ?
currently, I am using smart card Yubico and my laptop was installed this driver automatically then I need to login PC using password and remove it first to be able login PC using smart card.

not just w10. win8.1 also has this on my laptop. eidauthenticate cant see any certs too. kinda sad since I would have loved to use EC certs for that.

Cross-post from NEO topic, since the problem also happening on Yubikey 4 devices.
After Windows 10 CU (creators update) 1703 an auto update of the smart card minidriver has replaced the "Identity Device (NIST SP 800-73 [PIV])" with a "Yubikey smart card" breaking the smart card PIV functionality. As a result Windows cannot see any certificates on the card any more
