Ok great, we will do.

The dead keys have been tried in a wide array of USB ports and are all definitely completely unresponsive.
Statistics: Posted by mikecampbell — Wed Nov 13, 2013 4:49 pm

Hi,

Please contact support@yubico.com we will replace the 1 second blinking Yubikey free of charge. It is broken.

(point them here)

Regarding the other case, did she tried switching USB port or using an USB hub? Those specific cases are hard to define without having the actual machine.

Tom.
Statistics: Posted by Tom — Tue Nov 12, 2013 11:55 am

We supply keys to our customers in order to authenticate with our SaaS application. We almost never have problems with the keys but lately a particular customer is repetitively having trouble where her key goes completely dead. She's now gone through 4 keys in so many months, and each we one receive back looks in good condition but when plugged into any USB drive on any machine, no light will appear at all.

The problem is clearly specific to her and her computer (I assume), but does anyone know what might be causing this?

We've also received another malfunctioning key back recently that when plugged in will flash at 1-second intervals. I cannot find anything in the documentation to describe this behaviour.
Statistics: Posted by mikecampbell — Fri Nov 08, 2013 4:14 pm
