Even though the key is inserted, the Personalization Tool shows the error "No YubiKey Inserted"
What do I need to do to the key to get it recognized by the YubiKey Personalization Tool?
This happens even when it is plugged in and the LED is lit, the tool 'lsusb' shows that the key is found

and if I press the button, I get a string of 44 characters (letters) plus a return. e.g.

But the YubiKey Personalization Tool 1.14.1 on 64-bit Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS GNU/Linux is not finding it:
