The reason is that password safe needs to update the software in order to read the latest firmware.

You should try contacting Password Safe.

Same problem here: The YubiKey Personalization Tool can access the key without any problems, configuration works fine. Still, Password Safe doesn't recognize the key and keeps saying "Please insert your YubiKey". Tried different USB ports, deleting the installed keyboard devices, reboots, re-installs of password safe, nothing helped. Let me know if I can help you debugging this problem!

YubiKey NEO, FW 3.0.4, Password Safe 3.29Y, Win 7 SP1

Can you please check the YubiKey on another computer if possible or another USB port on the same computer?

Hello,

I just got my YubiKey Neo and want to try it out in a first step with Password Safe on my computer (Windows 7), later with my Android.

I followed the guide on Yubico's webpage (Personalization Tool) and re-installed the Y-version of Password Safe (.29 instead of .30), but: It doesn't recognize the key at all, for example it doesn't show the serial number when in menu "Yubikey ..." and all the YubiKey buttons are always inactive.

Do you have any suggestions what I could try?
