[Question] How long till a new major version of Neo?

I love my new Yubikey 4 and I would like to get a Neo so that I can use my phone and the Yubikey in that environment. However I am turned off by the limitations between the YK4 and the YK Neo in their present form. I would hate to buy a Neo in the next 3 weeks only to find out after a while a new one gets released with either more features or comes up to the YK4 capabilities with the additional NFC.
