You can fill in the form manually from data you want to input in the advanced field.

The upload button is just to simply the process by opening a webpage for you and submitting the form to the server over https.

You can have Yubikeys with same parameters but they would be un-usable. The counter would go out of sync and if you used Yubikey A 100 times you will need to touch Yubikey B 101 times to get a valid OTP.
Statistics: Posted by Tom2 — Mon Oct 05, 2015 2:40 pm

I'm using Yubico YubiKey Personalization Tool v3.1.21 and looking for the "Upload to Yubico" button on the "Program in Yubico OTP mode - Advanced" screen. If I use the "Quick" screen I see the button and it provides a straightforward way to upload this AES key. However, when I want to configure specific Public Identity, Private Identity, and Secret Key, after I write I still have not uploaded the AES key to the Yubico Authentication Servers, so the key will not verify yet.

My question is:
a) Was this feature omitted purposely?
b) How do I get the required fields from the Yubikey in order to fill in the form on https://upload.yubico.com/ specifically the yubikey Internal identity and AES key?

Second question related to this, should I be able to register multiple yubikeys with the same public identity, private identity, and secret key?

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by azavar — Fri Sep 25, 2015 11:27 pm
