I thought perhaps NXP had added some BLE magic to their soon-to-be-released successor to the current A7xx line...

...and we'd see wireless yubikeys talking to Apple iDevices.

The FAQ on the Edge says:

Q: "Does the YubiKey Edge support NFC or BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)?"

A: "No, the YubiKey Edge does not support NFC or BLE devices. If you need NFC or BLE capabilities, use the YubiKey NEO or YubiKey NEO-n. For more information on the YubiKey NEO, see the YubiKey NEO product page."

That leads to three questions:

1. When did BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) get added to the mix? I don't see it on any product page for the NEO/NEO-n?
2. When did the NEO-n get wireless support? Will it just be BLE or both BLE and NFC?
3. Will U2F be supported over BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)?
