The easiest way, is that your embedded electronics in the door/wall/window/place_where_you_put_the_key is connected to the Internet.

In that way you can use our API to authenticate the key, validate the Yubikey and then send the signal on your door to unlock (via USB-wifi-bt or any type of connection your door has)

If you computer is not connected to the Internet you will need to run a validation server https://www.yubico.com/products/service ... omponents/ on your local computer.

Basically, I'd like to be able to plugin, authenticate, and trigger a response by USB (the maglock)

Hello all. I'm very new to YubiKey projects. I'd like to use it for access control. I know this is a long shot, but any help would be appreciated. I'm well versed in access control, just not so much with coding.
