This is just the first step in setting up a key to be able to upload keys using the web service API.

Maybe this is not what you want to do... ?

If you just want to create a credential to be used with our validation service, then you probably just want to create and upload a new id/key. You can either use our configuration tools for that or just generate your own ID/key. Then go to the upload page at: https://upload.yubico.com/

Please let me know if I got your question wrong here.

Best regards,

JakobE
Hardware- and firmware guy @ Yubico
Statistics: Posted by Jakob — Mon Mar 05, 2012 4:20 am

I installed the http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yubikey-plugin/ plugin on one of my websites.

Then I went to the https://upgrade.yubico.com/getapikey/.

Returned to my Wordpress Profile and entered the 1st characters from my Yubikey by touching the button on the key.

Still I receive this message:
"Yubikey authentication has been disabled, Yubico API ID or key hasn't been setup."

What am I doing wrong here?????
Statistics: Posted by Scooter-IT — Thu Feb 23, 2012 5:46 pm
