The first thing that comes to mind is that you have a different keyboard layout under Linux.

Please select US English, and test it against demo.yubico.com
Statistics: Posted by Tom — Mon Jan 20, 2014 8:29 am

Hello people

I've been using my yubikey for a while now under windows, which has always worked fine. Whenever I needed to provide my OTP to access certain on line services, it always works fine.

Under Linux (Ubuntu 13.04) it does not seem to work. For some reason, my given OTP does not seem to be valid. I also tried this on the yubico-website (the test page) but it does not seem to work there either.

What could be the cause of this? I have not configured the yubikey in any way, nor have I changed something in relation to the yubikey in my linux environment.

I bet I am missing something obvious here, but I don't know what. Is it required for me to install the PAM-module in linux to be able to use the yubikey in a proper way?
Statistics: Posted by GTCG — Sat Jan 18, 2014 7:33 pm
