I have the same issue when i move from VMware back to windows. You need to kill all GPG process

However, this does not happen when i touch the Yubikey. What firmware version of the NEO-n you have?
Statistics: Posted by Tom — Mon Nov 10, 2014 10:42 am

I've been able to use both the OTP and smart card parts of the NEO-n, but using them together hasn't worked well.

Removing and re-inserting the yubikey (which is what the OTP does) makes the card feature stop working with gpg. Windows Device Manager reports the reader and card are present, but gpg --card-status says this:

Code:

gpg: selecting openpgp failed: Card error
gpg: OpenPGP card not available: Card error

The only fix I have found is to restart Window's smart card service and also restart gpg-agent + scdaemon. Is there anyone with the same problem? Is there a way to debug why gpg is not working?
Statistics: Posted by jmw — Mon Nov 03, 2014 6:37 pm
