This should be the "API call" option in the Personalization Tool.

API call: This option allows the device serial number to be read via a client-side application via a software interface, such as the Yubikey Client API.

Settings > select "API call (2.2+/3.0+)" > Update Settings > select a configuration slot > Update.

I tried this on a NEO (3.4.6), a YubiKey 4 (4.3.1), and a YubiKey Standard (2.4.2), and it works on all three.

Serial number does not show

Hello,

I have a Yubikey Nano. In the Yubikey Personalozation Tool it NEVER shows it's serial number.
Things I have tried:

* Change the setting "USB descriptor" - no effect
* executed ykpersonalize -1 -ofixed=vvvvvvvvvvvv -oserial-usb-visible on all slots

Nothing I do can make the serial appear.

How can I activate showing the serial number?
