Hi! The patch file is not needed at all if you download the yubico-openid-server code. It is only there if you want to see exactly what changes we have made against the upstream 2.0.1 release.

Does the upstream patch apply to my source if i just downloaded the project from svn?

Where should the upstream patch, upstream-2.0.1-to-yubico-0.patch, be installed? I wonder if this is the missing piece.
