OTP val. server returning "BAD_OTP" after AES Key upload

We received recently a question over email where after uploading the AES Key using the following link, when tried to validate the OTP, the validation server was returning "BAD_OTP" error:

The answer is...

The AES Key functionality takes time to update the Yubico OTP validation server database and respective counters. Once, you receive the "AES Key upload is successful" message, try to validate the OTP after 5-10 minutes.
