Brilliant, thank you! The reason I asked because I want to test the whole setup with my current, test keys and then create a proper keychain.
Statistics: Posted by bozho — Wed Jul 22, 2015 9:04 pm

You can always generate a new key on the card or upload new keys and replace the old keys. (exactly like you upload the first keys. gpg asks if you want to replace the existing)
Also, with GPG you can just extend the lifetime of your keys if you have the keys only on your card and know that they are not stolen.

You can also reset the whole applet by blocking it (entering pin and puk wrong several times) and then send commands to reset it. That is described here: https://developers.yubico.com/ykneo-ope ... pplet.html
Statistics: Posted by josch — Wed Jul 22, 2015 8:46 pm

Hi all,

Just received my Yubikey NEO and can't wait to start using it. I have a question, though (I wasn't able to find the answer)

As I've never used a smartcard or a token before to store my OpenPGP keys, I was wondering, once I put my OpenPGP keys on my NEO, is it possible to delete them when they expire and upload new keys?

Thank you
Statistics: Posted by bozho — Wed Jul 22, 2015 2:18 pm
