You have a development Yubikey NEO.
The ones sold now are production Yubikey NEOs.

Things changed over time, there are plenty of threads on the forum

Hello,

The Yubikey Neo product page (https://store.yubico.com/store/catalog/ ... ucts_id=72) mention that "Currently sold YubiKey NEOs do not support the development or management of JavaCard applets".

What does this mean exactly?

I have bought a Yubikey in August 2014 and I can confirm that I can load, delete and reload CAP files that I have generated.
