I was wondering if it would be possible to program the NEO in such a way that Users could program it to store bitcoin keypairs. The application I had in mind in particular was allowing users to program the NEO using NFC with their bitcoin key pair, but after programing only the public key portion could be retrieved via NFC. To retrieve the private key portion, or to sign bitcoin transactions, the user would need physically insert the key into a computer USB port. I am developing a device which physically removes access to the device storing the keypair but allows it to connect via NFC.

Would this be possible?
Statistics: Posted by dennison — Sat Nov 01, 2014 7:11 pm
