The most likely issue is your domain controller certificates are either expired or revoked. you can use the following link for help troubleshooting.

I'm using a Windows Server 2012 R2 for this. My clients are all Windows 10 computers.
The Yubikey PIV Manager has found the Certification Authority and the certificate was
installed on the Yubikey. Also i can see the generated certificate in the certification authority.

My problem now is that when i try to log in with PIV this error message shows up:
The Kerberos protocol encountered an error while validating the KDC certificate during smartcard logon.

Any ideas what i've done wrong?
