Ok sorry and thank you. Maybe you should explain this point on your support web pages (or maybe it is already there and I haven't seen it).
Statistics: Posted by hubert — Tue Sep 20, 2016 9:25 am

Please use the search function on the forum. I have answered this question multiple times

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2190

Just because it says Key attributes are 2048 RSA DOES NOT mean the applet is limited to 2048, this is gpg's default option. You can change this when you're generating a key.
Statistics: Posted by ChrisHalos — Mon Sep 19, 2016 3:49 pm

Hello!

I bought a Yubikey 4 especially for it's ability to handle 4096 bits keys. But, when I do gpg --card-status, I get

Key attributes ...: 2048R 2048R 2048R

and the key does not accept my 4096 bits encrypting key. How can I deal with that?
Statistics: Posted by hubert — Mon Sep 19, 2016 1:10 pm
