In line with security best practice, Yubico do not allow firmware upgrading of Yubikeys. If you want a key with a later firmware version, buy a new one.

Hi,

I would like to Upgrade my Yubikey 2 to a higher Firmware. The current Firmware (2.4.2) does not work with the Personalizationtool for Linux.(3.0.6).
When i try to configure the Yubikey with the Personalizationtool for Slot 1 or 2 came the message „The yubikey Firmware Version is not Supported“.
