Hello,

The is no settings in the Yubikey that can prevent your system to boot.

If you are referring to the windows logon, and you programmed your Yubikey in challenge response mode you can always login in by booting the system in safe mode.

If you disable the option to login in safe mode, yes you locked yourself out.

Again, if your system is not booting it is some other problem, nothing to do with the Yubikey.

so i was trying to setup my new yubikey that i just got in the mail today and i goofed, somehow the config for slot 2 got erased and now i cannot log into my system at all, i can't even seem to get the system to boot from the SSD. is there anyway to fix this? please help!

i really REALLY do not wish to redo my windows partition. so anything that you can do will be amazing.
