[Future design] Config awareness

when you switch the slots on a yubi the software will not know what is stored where which means that e.g. if I switch configs and do something to config 1 it warns me because there is usually the yubi or VIP credential, while if I change slot 2 in that situaton it would probably not warn me (I MOST CERTAINLY DONT WANT TO TRY) causing my Yubi or VIP credential to float in the eternal void.

so the Idea would be that the yubi shows the public data (e.g. "YubiOTP for ccccccbdefgh" or "HOTP for <pre-entered name>" or "Symantec VIP")to the config software so it can adjust warnings accordingly and users know better what they do.
Statistics: Posted by My1 — Wed Feb 03, 2016 9:42 am
