Fatal error: Call to undefined function pg_connect()

I'm trying to install Yubico Api on my website but I have this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function pg_connect() in /homepages/5/d144083111/htdocs/Auth_Yubico/authenticate.php on line 48

Has everyone success to install API yubico in his website?

Ps:As my website in shared server, I have not access to php.ini.
