Thanks, knowing it should work lead me to try closing all other applications. Must have been a conflict because it then worked.

I'm using YubiKey Personalization Tool version 3.0.0 (Build Timestamp: Apr 25 2011 17:40:03) here on my Lion 10.7.1 and have no problem with my YubiKey Standard and YubiKey VIP with Firmware version 2.2.4.

Are you using any USB Hub between your Mac and the keys? If so, try removing this and just using the port on the Mac itself. Does the Mac/Lion recognize the key? Check that in System Information -> USB when the key is attached.

Personalisation tool for Yubikey 2 on Mac Lion

Hi,

I'm unable to get the personalisation tool to work with my brand new Yubikey, on Mac OS X Lion. It simply doesn't detect the key. I've read other reports on the internet that it doesn't work with the new keys.

Could someone please confirm whether the software supports the current keys on the Mac, and if not, whether it will.
