We tried to compile your PAM under mac os x 10.5.5 .
Unfortunately there was an error:
"configure: error: PAM header files not found, install libpam-dev"
Th xCode install doesnt include libpam-dev library by default, googling doesnt get any result.

i'm really interested in these features too.

i already saw that apple is publishing some docs on how to create a so called "Authorization Services Plugin" but ObjC is out of my way for now.

but would be really great !

This is something I am looking into. I have only just started though and time is limited, so I don't know when I will having anything for you to try.

If anyone else in interested in this solution then please let me know, if there is a lot of interest I may be able to re-prioritise.

We are starting to look at ways to customize the Mac security features. Our main platform is Windows though, so if some other company wants to jump in here and do this first, we are happy for you
