I've been trying to set up a Mac OS X (Sierra) VMWare Fusion VM within Mac OS X (Sierra) to accept a Yubikey, but it's not working when I connect the USB to the VM. It says it's connected, and in fact I can disconnect it, but it's not recognized by the Yubi tools -- it thinks nothing is attached.
I have set

in the .vmx file, but that hasn't made a difference. Would anyone have any advice for trying to get this to work?

I notice that the guest VM recognizes the YubiKey:
