If you set an access code there is no known way to bypass it.

Only way is to keep trying possible codes you could have set. Remember to use the latest version of the personalization tool available here http://developers.yubico.com
Statistics: Posted by Tom2 — Thu Aug 06, 2015 8:43 am

Hi All:

Just joined the forum today.

I have been using a Yubikey Neo with my Windows computer for a while now and it's been great. This morning I wanted to erase slot 2 and program it with a static pswd. I couldn't do this because an access code is required. When I originally set up this key I can't remember whether I used an access code or not and if I did, using all zeros or the serial number doesn't seem to work. Do I have any recourse at this point or do I need to replace the key with a new one?

If I have to obtain a replacement (brand new Yubikey) is there anything I need to know about getting the old key out of my computer?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by zetareticuli — Wed Aug 05, 2015 2:52 pm
