Ok, it turned out that the Custom Rom (Phantom) was at fault. I have changed to another ROM and now USB OTG works perfectly.

Hi,
I have a Samsung Note 2 running KitKat 4.4.2. I am trying to use Yubikey Neo via the USB OTG adaptor. When i plugin the yubikey, it turns green each time. However, only 2 in 10 times did the yubikey actually sent the OTP code to the phone. I also tried plugging my usb keyboard to the phone and it works every time reliably.

Is there any way to improve the reliability of the yubikey with USB OTG?

PS: I am using a custom battery with the phone hence dont have NFC support.
