Not possible to tell without attempting to use it, but like My1 said, holding for ~3 seconds will tell you if it's Yubico OTP, OATH-HOTP, or Static Password, if all you get is the slot 1 OTP then it's probably Challenge-Response (you can try the Challenge-Response test in the Personalization Tool - Tools > Challenge-Response to see if you get a response, or the key starts blinking)

how about you longtap it while having notepad open and see what it is, at least it should show what type of thing we are talking about.

Is there a way to check what I have stored in my Yubikey 4 slot 2, I don't rember (OTP, challenge response...)
