I have been able to scan Data Matrix codes on YubiKeys using Neo Reader. See

Sorry, can you clarify why are you trying to scan the barcode (datamatrix) ?

To install the Yubico Authenticator applet on your NEO, you do not need the serial number (which can also be retrieved via the personalization tool)

I watched the video on how to use the Yubico Neo with the OAUTH app. I have downloaded the app from the appstore but when i choose scan new QR Code, i get an error "The scanned barcode is invalid". I tried the same website they used in the video (http://zxing.appspot.com/generator/) as well as some others that came up in a search of QR Code generators but get invalid barcodes on all of them.

Also tried with different sizes and levels of error correction. The app displays the email address at the bottom of the screen before showing the error which is strange - is this a bug in the android app ?

on ZXING, i tried both with UTF8 and ISO88591 but both failed.

Any suggestions how to proceed - thanks in advance.
