I am not sure you can do that, this is something enforced on pgp.

I've disabled my built in reader which i do not use on my laptop from the device manager.

An option would be to use something similar to this to get a reader name with scdaemon,
echo scd getinfo reader_list | gpg-connect-agent --decode | awk '/^D/ {print $2}'

And --reader-port in scdaemon conf/boot file to specify which reader to use...However, i did not test this and a I don't know if it will work.
Statistics: Posted by Tom2 — Thu Jan 14, 2016 3:25 pm

Dear Community,

I have a Yubikey 4 and a smartcard-reader (CHERRY-Terminal) plugged in my computer. Having both plugged in at the same time, causes confusion with GnuPG because it says "no card found" or sth. like that. So I always had to unplug the smartcard-reader and only plug-in the Yubikey to use it with GnuPG. Windows 7 - 64bit

Does anyone know a solution to this?

How do I tell GnuPG that it should only use the Yubikey 4 and doesnt bother with the smartcard-reader?

Regards,
Codebase
Statistics: Posted by codebase — Wed Jan 13, 2016 2:28 pm
