do other scanmaps you copied from somewhere (like here: https://www.yubico.com/2013/07/yubikey- ... d-layouts/ ) work? if yes maybe there's something wrong in the scanmap, it's easy to mess up a character in a way too long string of hex digits.

no, its not protected I can always reset the scanmap with

a write error.
do you perhaps have at least one of your config slots locked?

I did read that you cant even change the USB Mode while a slot is locked to try to unlock it, and try again.

Hi,

I have a YubiKey NEO-n and I'm trying to create a scanmap for the neo2 keyboard layout https://www.neo-layout.org/

I got the scan codes from:
