Running as sudo gives the Illegal Instruction: 4 error.

The keys I've tried all work fine when plugged directly into the laptop, it's just the personalization tool that is erring out. I did, of course, uninstall the Tool and reinstall the latest version, just to be sure.

Any suggestions if sudo isn't working (as noted above)
Statistics: Posted by tempo36 — Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:07 am

I just received a new yubikey v 4.
I inserted it while the personalisation tool (latest version) was launched.
I get "unknown error" and no info on the key is displayed (no version, firmware etc...)

What can I do to program this key? Is it DOA?
Statistics: Posted by strimbello — Mon Aug 01, 2016 4:56 pm
