[Question] NFC through a mobile web browser?

Logging into our service we offer the ability to use YubiKey OTP.

On our website we use a standard textbox that is populated with the OTP whenever a user uses the YubiKey in their computer's USB port. On mobile in our native application we have added support for logging in using NFC with YubiKey NEO.

A problem we are now facing is how to handle YubiKey scenarios when logging into our website application through a standard web browser such as Chrome on the mobile device. I don't see a way we can get the OTP code since we cannot invoke NFC through the mobile browser. Is this possible or should we fall back to other methods when logging through mobile web browsers?
Statistics: Posted by kspearrin — Thu Jun 29, 2017 3:02 pm
