I purchase these directly from Amazon.com that was linked to from the own Yubico official website.

For the standard key the serial is 0225 5709
and for the Neo key the serial is 3362060

They both have "powered by Yubico" imprint, but you can tell the molds used very different because the four little 'circles' on the corners are not the same size!

I purchased two yubi keys, one is a NEO version, the other is a standard version.

The Standard version looks like a fake….

For example, in the standard version, when I plug into usb, there is a green light that shows THROUGH the plastic usb, almost like the usb is made of cheap translucent plastic, but in the NEO version, it is a thicker darker plastic and there is no light that shines through.

Also, the keys themselves look physically different!
