I recently got my Yubikey and i wanted to configure it for Windows LogOn. I found one step missing in the official guide therefore i am posting here the complete sequence of step to follow to successfully configure the Yubico Windows LogOn.

1) Plug your Yubikey 2.2 or above in your USB port ( On my laptop worked both on USB 2.0 and 3.0 ).

2) Download the Windows LogOn software from Yubico website: http://static.yubico.com/var/uploads/fi ... yLogon.exe

3) Download the Yubico Personalization Tool: http://wiki.yubico.com/files/YubiKey%20 ... signed.msi

4) Run the Personalization Tool and configure the Yubikey as in this screen-shot that I've prepared:

5) Follow the steps in the official guide to complete the installation! http://yubico.com/windows-login-how-to


One final note, when you are a the windows logon screen, if you just plugged your Yubikey, WAIT 10 seconds for windows to detect it!
