When I connect my YubiKey NEO to my 15" Macbook Pro running macOS Sierra and start YubiKey PIV Manager I get the following error message:

"No YubiKey found. Please insert a PIV enabled YubiKey..."

With the command line tool (/Applications/YubiKey\ PIV\ Manager.app/Contents/MacOS/yubico-piv-tool -v -a status) I get

"error: no usable reader found."

I have searched the forum and the web already, but have not found a solution that works.

According to the Yubikey site PIV should be supported with the NEO. Firmware is 3.4.3. The Yubikey works otherwise. Even the Personalization Tool works, just the PIV tool does not see the key.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Statistics: Posted by triggerhappylombax — Wed Oct 12, 2016 10:36 pm
