I used the "sample html page" in my internet explorer and activated the active-x object. It did not work in my firefox. After entering a value in each field i pushed the button next to it. Finally i pushed the program-button.

I hope that helps you... just be aware that you will not be able to write in this forum after succesfully programming your key!

still getting a ykREAD_ERROR, besides those fields are there any other that need to be filled in, do i need to press any buttons?

According to your screendump you are entering invalid data. Try something like this:

ykStatic=123456789ABC
ykUID=CBA987654321
ykKey=00112233445566778899AABBCCDDEEFF

Maybe thats the reason?
