Thanks. I was doing this anyway, but I found the thing I was doing wrong was not leaving the key long enough against the phone.

I now have two-factor authentication on my phone as well as my laptop.

Ensure to have the latest version of the personalizatoin tool

use the NDEF configuration tool part in the personalitation tool

select the right slot and the access code if you have one.

I won a Yubikey NEO!

So I set about trying to configure it to work with my LastPass Premium account on my Nexus 4 phone. The idea is (according to this blog post https://helpdesk.lastpass.com/security- ... ntication/) that you

* use Yubikey Personalisation tool to set up an NDEF tag with a URL of "https://lastpass.com/mobile/?otp="
* touch the Yubikey NEO to back of the phone and it should visit that URL, auto-logging into Lastpass

I have installed the personalisation tool on my Mac and it *says* it has programmed the NEO correctly but I don't think it has. Putting the NEO against the phone makes and phone make a noise but nothing happens. The Yubico Android Demo app still shows it as emitting the OTP, not the programmed URL.

Have I done something wrong here?
