I've actually activated my PayPal token today. It seems funny though, how they have hidden the page were you can choose the security key. What you want to do, is to press cancel, or return when your in the page where you're supposed to enter your phone number (don't actually enter any numbers). This actually took me right to the page shown on the first screen shot here and I could setup everything as described.

I also asked a friend to show me his settings, he does not have a Securitykey from paypal.
His Settings do look the same as mine, but without this 2 securitykey entries.

I am kind of lost now

Hello,

1.) I added a screenshot of my paypal securitykey settings.
I used to use already the paypal own sekuritykey otp (the oval one).
first I thought its because I did register one already, but I asked a friend to check his options and actually they are the same.

2.) I am from germany and till 2008 I am using the oval paypal (verisign) OTP already. So I guess germany is supported.
I had some phone calls with paypal, but they don't get it they only want me to sell the new keycard.

Maybe I could just open the activation link when locked in to go to the screen.
I tried out to find it but its nowhere documented and your video does not show the url
I know it will be something like webscr?cmd=_register-security but I cant find out the right cmd to come to your screen.
In the past it used to be the way it shows in your video, I can remember that screen, but now it looks like paypal is showing it only if you bought a new security keycard

We tried with PayPal US and we were able to assign a VIP YubiKey. Please see the attached screen shot for more information.

Also, please refer to the video available at the link below for step by step instructions to assign a VIP YubiKey to your PayPal account:

Hello,

I wanted to register my YubiKey VIP today at Paypal, but they changed the registration.
Now you don't have the choice between the different aktivations.
You have only the option to buy a security-card or to aktivate SMS-Securitykey.

I called the helpdesk but they say, I need first to buy a security card before the option comes up.

So how can I activate now my yubikey vip?
