I don't understand your question.

If you select "use serial number", it'll the 7 digit serial number preceded by padded zeroes.

If you don't select "use serial number", you can manually type in any 12 digits you want.

I would like to have the Yubikeys protected and I was hoping to use a standard prefix (example 123) and then the serial from the key.
is that possible?
