Hi Andy,

We have some not yet released things cooking here. Please send me an e-mail at jakob at yubico dot com and let me know a bit about the application. Then we can see if what we have would meet your needs.

Regards,

JakobE
Hardware- and firmware guy @ Yubico
Statistics: Posted by Jakob — Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:53 pm

Hi:
I've just received my first Yubikey and Im wondering, if it is possible to request the Yubikey data from software.
Our aim is to use a Yubikey as part of a hardware product, the key will uniquely identify this as hardware supplied by 'us'. There may not be an operator available to press the Yubikey button. So we need an API or other mechanism that will 'command' the Yubikey to output its data.

1) is there a sequence of command chars that could be written to the device?

2) I see a control endpoint as part of the devices USB stack. Could this be used?

Thanks for considering the question,
Andy
Statistics: Posted by AndyRhind — Tue Jul 27, 2010 4:36 am
