My guess would be that the user account attempting to auto-enroll doesn't belong to a group with proper auto-enroll permissions on the certificate template. On the template, check the Security tab.

Hello,

I have configured a small windows domain environment to test out auto-enrollment using YubiKey4 using PIV.

env:

windows 2012r2
windows 10
YubiKey MiniDriver installed on both machines.

Issue:

The enrollment process starts properly; however, when enrolling the YubiKey4 I get the following error: scard_w_security_violation.

I haven't been able to find any useful information on google about this error.

Attached are some screenshots of the error I get.

Any ideas as to what could be happening?
