The Yubikey cannot be updated for security reasons so the only way to get a newer version is to order a new Yubikey:

There are some policies for replacement if there are found a security problem in you firmware version but i don't think there are found problems in 2.2.4.

I have an old yubikey std (the one with the dot in the center). It comes with firmware 2.2.4.
Are there any updates for this unit? 2.3 firmware?
